Handle with care

 



Handle with care refers to fragility.Probably like the glass in the picture.Glass and relationships are very fragile.Should be handled with utmost care.
Never allow anything made of glass to slip away from your hand.Ofcourse,there are times when we grab the falling glass and save it from crashing to the ground.But sometimes the glass that falls to the ground may break into several pieces because we may not be able to save it from breaking. 
A broken glass teaches us so many things.
It says:
Handle me with utmost care.Once broken I can never be mended.Even if you manage to bring all the broken pieces together by an adhesive,you will still be able to see the cracks.I can never be the same beautiful glass anymore which reflects only light,but still I did love to be put together.

In our journey of life too we deal with so many types of relationships. 
There are some which are for life,
Some we may not even notice, 
Yet some,they come and go without playing a significant role in our lives,
There are some which are so special that they leave an imprint on our souls. 
The personalities who leave an imprint on our souls stay for ever because imprints cannot be erased no matter what the circumstances are. 
To such personalities who have left an imprint on my soul, a big thanku on this special day.Many positive vibes, thoughts and wishes will continue to flow from me eternally,no matter what. 
All said and done,each of my paintings can be decoded because,I always paint with a thought,a message to convey.That gives me sense of fulfillment and peace.



Let the sweetness of the cake stay with us.Let it never turn bitter.

Patience unlimited

 I feel that I have developed unlimited patience over the years.Life teaches patience,tolerance and the attitude to ignore many things that are not palatable to us.The reason being,as we see more of life we realise that we can't change people around us, so if we have to deal with people who are a part of our living, we have to put up with lots of unpleasant things or their behavior that may hurt us. A person's behavior tells us more about that person,who ever it be....our own selves or others. I had known a wife who used to be constantly ridiculed by her husband for everything she said or did and that too in front of an audience of friends and the wife would always laugh it off.I used to admire that lady but her husband's behavior would irritate me.I think now I understand why she used to keep quiet and bear everything and smile it off.Their individual behaviours told us more about his personality and her personality.His behavior told us what an ill mannered and foolish  pe...

Is appreciation the end all and be all?

The title I gave this blog is a question!!! I love to analyse every thing that happens in my day to day life.Anything overwhelming or anything that makes me sad. Well something overwhelming happened today. I was most unexpectedly appreciated for a painting that I posted in a watercolor group of which I am a member. At first it was overwhelming and I even responded to it.After responding,my mind started the process of analysis of the whole process.....from how I felt motivated to paint the subject to how I felt after finishing my painting. Actually, I could not take my eyes off the photograph that was posted by my photographer friend whom I follow closely.My admiration for that person's photography ignited the desire in me to paint and I could not help but make a water colour version of it.I sat through my work in the night till the wee hours of the next morning and was elated with the result.The first thing I did was to post it the next day.Irespective of the likes and comments I g...
