Autumn


 


Autumn embraces changes even as she is falling to pieces


This one is going to be my most memorable painting because of its vibrancy and also because of the  inspiration I derived.We never know from where we are destined to be inspired.It just happens.

I find a lot of similarity between twilight and autumn.Both are breathtakingly beautiful and both carry a message that the end can be beautiful and peaceful.

Its time for me to reflect,revaluate and understand nature.Seeing each beautiful leaf falling to the ground at its own pace,I get this feeling that all of us have to wither but wither we should like the fall of leaves in Autumn.......gently,gracefully and beautifully.


Make your everyday beautiful,as vibrant as possible just like autumn. Add colour to each day by learning something.Every human being around you tends to teach you something,every relationship compels you to learn something.Nature around you opens your eyes to realities of life.Understand the underlying meaning and improve.

Fill your canvas of life with beautiful colours of kindness,love,understanding.There is no limit to learning and growing.

An artist in me compels me to understand the shades of life,appreciate life and be grateful for everything that life has offered me.

Last,but not the least,I pray that  I be steered to an autumn path to travel all alone.Alone in solitude,gratitude,peace and love. 


Thankful for all the people who have come and gone,who are still with me in thoughts and who will ever be remembered for eternity.

Patience unlimited

 I feel that I have developed unlimited patience over the years.Life teaches patience,tolerance and the attitude to ignore many things that are not palatable to us.The reason being,as we see more of life we realise that we can't change people around us, so if we have to deal with people who are a part of our living, we have to put up with lots of unpleasant things or their behavior that may hurt us. A person's behavior tells us more about that person,who ever it be....our own selves or others. I had known a wife who used to be constantly ridiculed by her husband for everything she said or did and that too in front of an audience of friends and the wife would always laugh it off.I used to admire that lady but her husband's behavior would irritate me.I think now I understand why she used to keep quiet and bear everything and smile it off.Their individual behaviours told us more about his personality and her personality.His behavior told us what an ill mannered and foolish  pe...

Is appreciation the end all and be all?

The title I gave this blog is a question!!! I love to analyse every thing that happens in my day to day life.Anything overwhelming or anything that makes me sad. Well something overwhelming happened today. I was most unexpectedly appreciated for a painting that I posted in a watercolor group of which I am a member. At first it was overwhelming and I even responded to it.After responding,my mind started the process of analysis of the whole process.....from how I felt motivated to paint the subject to how I felt after finishing my painting. Actually, I could not take my eyes off the photograph that was posted by my photographer friend whom I follow closely.My admiration for that person's photography ignited the desire in me to paint and I could not help but make a water colour version of it.I sat through my work in the night till the wee hours of the next morning and was elated with the result.The first thing I did was to post it the next day.Irespective of the likes and comments I g...
