A walk in the sunlight
Setback in health in a foreign country is quite challenging.Got throat infection during my flight from Heathrow to Toronto,I guess. It has never happened to me during my past travels to a foreign land.Even though it's quite an irritating infection,I take this as another experience.
I did go out because I did not want to waste the sun's grace falling on each one of us.Its quite a rarity in this part of the world. That is why,I guess, everyone here wants to be out in the open when the sun is merciful towards them. The weather here is most unpredictable....one day bright sunlight and another day rains.Sometimes it's sunshine in the morning and rains in the evening. This reminds me of my city Bengaluru, where, sometimes, we see various seasons in a single day.Morning is like a cold winter morning with heavy fog, which extends into a hot day like a summer day, followed by heavy rain in the evening.
That set my mind thinking.Do we Bharatia people realise the importance of Sun God in our lives?I guess not.We should be more than grateful because our land is a blessed land.....blessed with sun rays every single day,be it any season.Even in rainy season there are days when He appears to bless us with His rays.
We walked to a place where people play various sports....mainly football, cricket. They take advantage of the fact that in summer the days are longer.Comfortably seated,we could watch the various teams playing games. Some cute four pawed🐾🐾 friends had come for a walk with their owners.Looked like a mini dog show.
As it got colder,we returned to our abode for a piping hot dinner of dhal makhni and ragi mudde.First time I tasted this combination but loved it....a blend of south and north cusine.Very healthy and tasty.
