Just went to my threads profile.Quite a few posts are made by me but there is no response to my posts.Haha,look meri jaan, I told myself,there should be no expectations that someone will see my post,comment on my post or as simple as click a like button.....Even my regular Instagram posts,my followers must be seeing my posts but there seems to be no indication that they have, because majority of my followers are quiet.Its only my stories that get a quick response especially when I post a pic of myself. When I post some quotes,a few responses do come forth.......so on and so forth.

Hey,why are you so expressive?I ask myself.....but that is me.Everyone has some personal and unique traits.Its in my nature to appreciate when I feel something good about someone's talent or unique skills or someone's thoughts.I comment on singers when they touch my heart,touch my soul with their singing.

I feel that when we retain our original nature, without bothering about others at large,we are happy with ourselves.Especially when our nature is positive,when it harms no one,when it makes the other person happy,why curb our inate nature based on the other person's nature.You are you....I am I.

These are my bare thoughts.

Nowadays,I have all the time in the world to express even my inate thoughts because I am on a holiday.

It's a nice experience for me.I will know myself better by the day.I have more time to analyse my behaviour, I have more time to understand another person's behaviour.Not that I have had no opportunities earlier.I have had, because I have travelled quite a lot.But I had not taken to blogging earlier.This interest started quite recently.Each experience is different with different people to deal with,with different cultures to deal with.Felt good yesterday to spend some time with our local Canadian friends over a barbecue lunch and an enjoyable board game....Of course I did not play because there had to be someone around to capture the moments of fun.

We can never get bored with life when we have something new to learn each time.And it becomes even more interesting when we pen our thoughts so that we can go back to them whenever we feel like it.

 I feel that I have developed unlimited patience over the years.Life teaches patience,tolerance and the attitude to ignore many things that are not palatable to us.The reason being,as we see more of life we realise that we can't change people around us, so if we have to deal with people who are a part of our living, we have to put up with lots of unpleasant things or their behavior that may hurt us. A person's behavior tells us more about that person,who ever it be....our own selves or others. I had known a wife who used to be constantly ridiculed by her husband for everything she said or did and that too in front of an audience of friends and the wife would always laugh it off.I used to admire that lady but her husband's behavior would irritate me.I think now I understand why she used to keep quiet and bear everything and smile it off.Their individual behaviours told us more about his personality and her personality.His behavior told us what an ill mannered and foolish  pe...

Is appreciation the end all and be all?

The title I gave this blog is a question!!! I love to analyse every thing that happens in my day to day life.Anything overwhelming or anything that makes me sad. Well something overwhelming happened today. I was most unexpectedly appreciated for a painting that I posted in a watercolor group of which I am a member. At first it was overwhelming and I even responded to it.After responding,my mind started the process of analysis of the whole process.....from how I felt motivated to paint the subject to how I felt after finishing my painting. Actually, I could not take my eyes off the photograph that was posted by my photographer friend whom I follow closely.My admiration for that person's photography ignited the desire in me to paint and I could not help but make a water colour version of it.I sat through my work in the night till the wee hours of the next morning and was elated with the result.The first thing I did was to post it the next day.Irespective of the likes and comments I g...
